Satya Chheda has 20+ years of professional experience in the career development space and leads learning and development initiatives for coaches at BetterUp, one of the largest coaching platforms in the world with a mission to help people everywhere live their lives with greater clarity, purpose, and passion. Prior to joining BetterUp, she was an early employee at several tech startups in a variety of ed-tech roles. Most notably, she designed and implemented a career transition coaching program for 1000s of WeWork employees that were impacted by massive layoffs in 2019. Satya has also worked as a therapist in schools, a coach in private practice, and in career offices in higher education (including NYU Wasserman). Satya has her B.S. in Psychology from OSU, M.A. in Counseling from NYU and is both an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a CCE Board Certified Coach (BCC). She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her teenage son and writes about career and personal development topics for various publications, including her own Substack newsletter, Satya Creates.
