Linda Layne is an impactful educator, a people leader and an executive coach with a proven strength in understanding luxury retail and the fashion sector for jewelry and apparel. Linda builds meaningful relationships and is known for her keen sense of style and fashion and her love for hair, beauty and skincare.
In Linda’s recent role, she is the SVP, Head of Human Resources for Fila North America. Prior to joining Fila, Linda served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers Business School and before that, she led the People and Culture function at Cartier North America. Linda spent 9.5 years at Tiffany & Co. and at Merrill Lynch she spent 8.5 years in various HR positions supporting sales & trading and operations.
Linda is a certified executive coach through Georgetown University. She has her master’s from Teacher’s College, Columbia University in Organizational Psychology. Linda attended the International Institute of Conflict Resolution at Teacher’s College and earned a certificate in conflict resolution and a certificate in negotiation from Harvard Law. Linda lives in Newark, New Jersey where she is known for her love of animals as she regularly feeds the birds, and the neighborhood cats while enjoying her own dachshunds referred to as her “babies”, Amber and Prudence.
