As a senior executive emeritus (Executive Director of External Affairs and CCO) at Columbia University Medical Center for over 25 years in healthcare communications and marketing, I come to the table with developed strategic thinking, problem solving and negotiating skills, strong leadership and team building experience and an understanding of current management techniques, and an understanding of the value of ROI evaluation and acceptance of new technology. Prior to this position I worked as a PA for 11 years in adult and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery.
In addition to leadership skills, strategic planning, CMR, coaching certifications in life, executive and health coaching and a clinical Physician Assistant background, my current interest lies in health, life and transition coaching including coaching individuals in the art of talking to your doctor, especially around new diagnoses.
I received a BS from Wesleyan University, Physician’s Associate certification from Yale School of Medicine PA Program, an Executive Business Administration Certification from Columbia University as well as two Life and Heath Coaching certifications from Columbia University and Health Coach Institute respectively.
