Lynda Layne

Linda Layne is an executive Human Resources business partner, executive transformational coach, and university educator. Linda’s career spans multiple industries that include luxury retail, financial services, professional sports, and a global hedge fund, and currently serves as an adjunct professor at Rutgers Business School. Linda is passionate about adult learning and leadership and is highly competent at leading and building teams. She is a strategic thought advisor and consultant, highly adept at leading organization-wide restructurings and developing systems-wide talent strategies to achieve successful business results. Linda’s passion for adult learning and leadership in organizational contexts has led her to earn a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University, as well as a certificate in transformational leadership coaching from Georgetown University.

Linda is also certified in conflict resolution from the Institute of Conflict Resolution at Columbia University. Linda attended the Vertical Academy of Development to study adult development theory and polarity wisdom to better understand herself and others, and to lead transformational performance change and relational well-being for individuals, and teams. Linda is the President of TARK Leadership LLC, a professional career coaching and HR consultant practice with a focus on the millennial and Gen-X population.

Linda is a native New Yorker, and she is a fur parent to her 3 dogs: Amber, Prudence, and King Charles. Linda is currently seeking to be admitted to the Fall 2024 doctoral program at Teacher’s College, Columbia University for adult learning & leadership with a minor in counseling psychology.
