Member Bio
Marie is the Founder and Principal of High Tides Consulting, a learning agency that helps clients focus on self improvement in a fun and dynamic environment, so they can show up as their best for their families, communities, and the world.
She started her career in Americorps, serving youth in under-served communities. That led her to a robust career in education and management that led to being the Director of Training and Development at one of the largest charter school networks in New York City. Always a multi-tasker, she obtained professional licensing as a financial adviser, created a real estate holding company, and received her Masters in Management and Non Profit Administration along the way.
Currently Marie coaches women and people of color leaders to magnify their voices in their working spaces. She is an advocate for healthy work cultures, inclusive leadership and more equity in corporate spaces. Her work includes workshops, speaking and one-on-one executive and leadership coaching designed to drive more authentic communication around work, belonging, innovation and the culture of creativity.
Marie is also the host of an online community, “She Runs It”, a space for entrepreneurial women of color to collaborate, celebrate and create empowering business models and environments. She is a professional development junkie, loves to dance, and lives in Brooklyn with her crazy supportive husband, and their two awesome sauce kids.
