Hi, my name is Les. I began coaching in 2020 and and have served ICF-NYC as Membership Ambassador and Education Liaison and have led ICF international chapter events. I work with leaders shaping the futures of consulting, technology, energy, finance, healthcare, diplomacy, education and the creative industries. I am an NYU-trained Executive and Leadership Coach at Columbia Business School, Entrepreneurship Coach at Parsons School of Design and Creativity Coach at University of Melbourne in Australia. Recipient of the Fulbright Professional and Academic Excellence Award, I recently founded the Naga Youth Mentorship Program in India.

I work with US and international clients and groups. My specialization is engaging clients with models for a more creative and fulfilling career and life. With 30 years international experience based in New York, Paris, Frankfurt, Brussels, Tokyo and Beijing, I have advised multinational clients including 3M, Du Pont, General Electric, General Motors, Dow Chemical, Exxon and Bayer.

I am ICF-credentialed and certified on the New York University coaching program where I studied under NYU Professor Paulette Rao, MCC, BCC and am trained as an ICF-accredited group coach with GCHQ in New York. A Research Scholar on the Futures of Coaching at Columbia University in New York, I am examining new models for engaging creativity as a building blocks of coaching and career success and satisfaction.

I earned my BA (cum laude) and M.Sc Management from Boston University; MBA from California State University; MA from University of London; and a Masters in Fine Art from Musashino Art University, Tokyo. I received my PhD from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK; and Post-Doctorate from the University of São Paulo in Brazil. Also a university professor, I lecture in India, Taiwan, China and the UK.

Originally from Santa Barbara, California I grew up hiking in the foothills that sweep back from the Pacific. When I am not coaching I am a photographer, filmmaker and explorer. In London, I am Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in London, the Royal Anthropological Institute, the Royal Asiatic Society and in New York the Explorers Club. I have recently serves as Fulbright Senior Scholar at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in New Delhi, as well as New York Chair of the Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP).

I serve ICF on local and global initiatives in New York as Membership Ambassador and globally building platforms for ICF members to meet across borders. I look forward to speaking with you.
