Member Bio
Karyn Gallant is an executive coach and business advisor to all levels of management from high-potential leaders and emerging entrepreneurs to CEOs and executives throughout the C- suite. Over the past 15 years, she has built a highly regarded practice providing executive coaching, organizational development and professional and individual growth strategies to clients and their teams.

Karyn works with businesses and non-profits that are in the midst of a growing ecosystem, new technologies, changing ideas about how to engage consumers or members and those who face competition coming from entirely new corners. She helps executives not only respond, but design stronger, high functioning organizations that are aligned with the larger goals of the business. That often requires new skills, different insights, allowing for the notion that we do not stop growing and getting smarter when we leave school.
Karyn also works with boards and senior executive teams in conjunction with the CEO, helping them to optimize the relationship of governance, leadership and vision.

Prior to launching a full time coaching practice, Karyn led multiple HR divisions at Condé Nast Publications, working one on one with magazine Editors, Publishers, Product and Content Developers and SVPs in Editorial and Advertising, Business Development, Licensing, Consumer Marketing, Technology, Manufacturing and Research and with the CNP senior leadership team as they navigated successfully through a period of industry sea-change unlike anything that preceded it.
She has worked with numerous internationally known consumer brands, B to B’s, not-for profits, start-ups and with traditional and digital products. Before coming to Condé Nast, Karyn developed programming for and led the executive and staff training programs for RH Macy’s and played a key role developing talent and teaching leadership skills to executives across the country during Macy’s aggressive expansion to the Midwest and in the South. She also ran Macy’s highly acclaimed Executive Assessment Center early in her career.

Karyn is a mentor to other coaches and a writer and frequent contributor to Forbes. Her most recent articles are entitled "What Would You Do if You Were Unafraid?" http://bit.ly/2GQWPYP and “Why Does Internal Innovation Often Fail?” https://bit.ly/2DfewjJ
